DEBRA CHANNON COUNSELLING
Debra Channon Counselling
Professional, caring, compassionate
Life brings its ups and downs, and at times it can feel overwhelming. If you’re living with depression, anxiety, a sense of feeling lost, or navigating change, challenge or conflict, counselling offers space to gain perspective, deepen self‑awareness and cultivate acceptance - helping you move through life in a way that feels right for you.

How I can help
Counselling is a talking therapy that provides a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore your feelings, thoughts, beliefs, experiences and concerns - especially those that may feel too difficult to share with others in your life.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role as your counsellor is to listen with empathy and support you as you:
- Explore existing and alternative perspectives
- Better understand how you relate to others - and to yourself
- Increase your self-awareness and self-acceptance
- Discover your inner strengths and resources
- Identify new options and coping strategies
- Move forward in a way that aligns with your values and needs
People come to counselling for many different reasons. Whether you're experiencing grief, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling overwhelmed, your experience of counselling will be unique to you - because your story, your needs and your goals are entirely your own. These are just some of the issues I can help with:
- Anxiety
- Bereavement
- Burnout
- Career change or challenges
- Death and dying
- Depression
- Emptiness and lack of purpose
- Health issues
- Identity issues
- Lack of motivation
- Life-stage challenges
- Loneliness
- Low self-confidence

- Menopause
- Personal development
- Pet bereavement
- Redundancy
- Relationship issues
- Retirement
- Separation and divorce
- Sexuality
